Maddie Loftin

Maddie was born and raised in Savannah, GA. She attended the University of Notre Dame, where she studied English and Italian. After graduating in 2019, Maddie completed two years of service with the House of Brigid program in Dublin, Ireland, where she and other young adults worked in parish and music ministry at Newman University Church. Following her time in Ireland, she returned to Notre Dame to earn a Master of Divinity (MDiv). While working towards her degree, Maddie worked in several different areas of ministry, including homelessness outreach, parish ministry, college campus ministry, and prison ministry.

For the past two years, Maddie has been working in Residence Life at Stonehill College, a small Catholic liberal arts school in the Boston area. She is so excited to be back in her home state, and is thrilled to join the community here at the Shrine. She enjoys playing guitar, singing, hiking, reading, and hanging out with her dog, Phoebe.
