During the week...

Our historic church home is open to visitors and pilgrims for prayer during office hours.

The main doors of the church are usually kept closed apart from lunchtime mass times,

Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 12:10 p.m. & Saturday at 9am.

To get access to the sanctuary, simply ring the office door bell at 48 Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. SW. and one of our friendly and delightful welcome ministers will be happy to show you into the church to have some quiet prayer before the Blessed Sacrament or our altar to the Blessed Mother.

Parking is available, for a fee, during business hours on the street or at the Underground Atlanta parking deck located across the street from the church on Dr. M.L.K. Jr. Dr. S.W.

For a guided tour of our historic church, please call the office at (404)-251-1866 well in advance of your visit. **same day tours are not available unfortunately.

During the week, our office is open from 10am until 3pm, Monday - Friday.

On Sunday

For mass on Sunday, free parking is available at the Underground Atlanta parking deck located across the street from the church on Dr. M.L.K. Jr. Dr. S.W.

On the weekends, parking is validated by the church, so take your ticket into mass with you and one of our ushers will gladly help you out with validation.

We have 2 masses on Sunday; our 8:30am mass and 11am mass. Our 8:30am mass is usually a little quieter than our 11am mass, but still carries with it the love and unconditional welcome that is embedded into the very fabric that is the Shrine community and tradition.

Our Shrine Music Ministry Choir and band sings at our 11am mass every week of year. They lead our community in sung prayer, with a spirit of servant leadership and congregational song, as we are called to full, active, and conscious participation in our liturgy by the second Vatican Council.

Accessible access to the sanctuary is located behind the main church, on MLK, beside the office room.

Restrooms are located in the parish center (Parish office) and also downstairs in the parish hall. Unfortunately, because of the age of our campus & building, accessible facilities can only be accessed by the outside door to the parish hall. Please ask any one of our staff or volunteers for help and directions and they will be more than happy to assist in any way.

If you and your family need any further help in preparing for your visit to the Catholic Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, Atlanta's Most Historic Church, please feel free to reach out to us at contactus@catholicshrineatlanta.org or call the parish office at (404)-251-1866
