Shrinetoberfest! October 28th after the 11am Mass
Prizes for Best Costume - Beer Tent - Food and Fun!
As a result of our gathering Sunday, August 26th we have set up a training opportunity in partnership with the Archdiocese of Atlanta for the VIRTUS PROGRAM. We invite everyone in our community - parents, grandparents, young adults, to reaffirm what we decided which is that it takes an entire community to protect and safeguard our children. Our resolution was to be proactive. Thus our first step is to offer this free training to all.
Date: Saturday, 10-13-18 12:20pm to 3:30pm
Location: Parish Hall (lower level of church)
Maximum number of participants: 75
No childcare provided
Session open to all in the Archdiocese. Perla Freed, a certified trainer, will facilitate the class.
Instructions on how to register for the Virtus class:
1) In the dropdown box select “Atlanta, GA (Archdiocese)” then click the “Select” button.
2) Click on “Start Registration” and create a User ID and Password then click “Continue”.
3) Follow the prompts to enter your personal contact information, then choose an upcoming class.
Once you have completed the VIRTUS registration process, you will receive an automatic email confirmation from VIRTUS regarding the class you have chosen to attend.
Becoming Catholic - Sundays starting September 9th at 9:45am
Have you been coming to Mass but you are not Catholic or you just want to know more about what it means to be Catholic? The Shrine is beginning a series of information sessions about Catholic life and practice. These are informal sessions and no commitment is required.
