Dear Parish Family,
At this time politicians and leaders are doing State Of The Union Or State Of The State Messages and our Parish Pastoral Council met with me and we thought it would be great to share some of our amazing growth and issues which we face as we grow in our parish vision.
A LOOK AT OUR PARISH COMMUNITY OVER THIS PAST YEAR
  • FATHER DENNIS DORNER HAS JOINED OUR STAFF
  • DAMELLYS SACRISTE BECAME FULL TIME FAITH FORMATION COORDINATOR
  • ADDED THE 4PM SATURDAY VIGIL MASS
  • OUR MEMBERSHIP HAS GROWN TO OVER 540 HOUSEHOLDS IN THE PARISH
  • WE’VE CELEBRATED 50 BAPTISMS AND 17 MARRIAGES
  • PROVIDED PANTRY ITEMS FOR 2,400 HOUSEHOLDS, FED 13,260 AND SHELTERED 150 NIGHTS
  • THERE ARE 88 STUDENTS IN OUR FAITH FORMATION AND 15 ARE PREPARING TO BECOME CATHOLIC
  • HAVE SUPPORTED THE WOMEN’S AND MEN’S HOMEWARD CHOIRS
  • CONTINUE OUR WEEKLY 12-STEP RECOVERY PROGRAM
  • SUCCESSFULLY PAID $69,OOO IN MAINTENANCE OF OUR CHURCH ROOF
  • ADDED POLICE SECURITY FOR ALL MAJOR EVENTS
These are just some of the achievements that You Have Supported.
Our challenges ahead will be to develop our welcome to our new members and battle our need for more space to live and celebrate our bonds of faith and study.
On Saturday, February 16th, I hope you’ll join us for a Parish Vision Day, beginning with 9am Mass and continuing in the Parish Offices Until 1:00 pm. Prayerfully we can shape our vision for our future as the Body of Christ in the heart of the city.
Peace and Blessings in Christ Risen,
Monsignor Henry C. Gracz
Pastor
